Kenneth M. Fisher

Kenneth M. Fisher passed away peacefully July 20, 2023 surrounded by his family in Midlothian, Va.

He was born Jan. 14, 1931, the son of Harry and Margaret Fisher. The family lived in Lock Haven, Pa., until the early fifties. He was the last living member of his birth family.

Kenneth was a 1948 graduate of the old Lock Haven High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in January of 1949. While stationed at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, he met the love of his life, Marilyn L. They were married for 67 years until her passing in 2020.

After an honorable discharge, he had a long, successful career with the American Telephone and Telegraph Company. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and doting on his wife and family.

He leaves behind his three children, David (Pamela) Fisher, Debra L. Fisher and Diane F. Engelke (Kent); along with five grandsons, Adam (Stephanie), Benjamin, Stephen, Connor and Erik; a nephew, Kenneth W. Fisher (Carole); and a niece, Donna Becker (Larry).

A Celebration of Life will be held Aug. 12, 2023 at Living Hope Lutheran Church, 3903 Old Hundred Road, S. Midlothian, VA 23112.
